PA State Rep. Bud Cook

As a longtime businessman and proven conservative leader,  I ran for State Representative to take on the status quo and to put people before politics. 

Like President Trump, I knew hard working families already paid too much, career politicians and the politically connected had too much power and government needed reformed.

Since you elected me in November 2016, I have worked with local residents and like-minded legislators to protect our communities, families and tax dollars. I am proud to have received the Conservative Excellence Award, which was awarded to only  17 out of 253 Pennsylvania Lawmakers. 

I was born and raised here in the Mon-Valley. After graduating from California Area High School, I worked three jobs to pay my own tuition and earned my bachelor’s degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College.

As a self-employed business owner who has created jobs and successfully met budgets and payrolls for more than 30 years,  I understand the importance of protecting family-sustaining jobs, fighting the drug epidemic, reducing taxes and holding government accountable. 

I reside in Clover Hill and remain deeply involved in our local community. An uncompromising advocate for our Constitutional right to keep and bear arms, I am also a life-time member of Firearm Owners Against Crime and I champion of our pro-life values.
